The Problem
Amazon's Restrictive Anti-Scraping Defenses
Amazon employs state-of-the-art Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and bot-detection heuristics. Standard scrapers are immediately identified by their connection headers, static signatures, lack of cookie parameters, or aggressive request frequency, resulting in CAPTCHA challenges or complete IP bans. Additionally, Amazon's search results only supply compressed low-resolution thumbnail images, which look unprofessional when cross-posted to social media channels.
Aggressive Bot Detection
Immediate blocking of programmatic HTTP requests lacking complete browser-like connection metadata, resulting in HTTP 503 Service Unavailable or CAPTCHA loops.
